(May 12th from 12-3pm) Pittsburgh Steeler and Rhodes Scholar, Myron Rolle, will be sharing tips of his successes with students of the Philly area. Myron was a highly touted college football star at Florida State who came under national criticism for passing up the NFL Draft to continue his studies in Oxford, England, after receiving the Rhodes Scholarship. Myron's commitment to football was questioned because of his pursuit to become a doctor, but he silenced all critics when he returned after his studies to be drafted to a NFL team in 2010.
Please take advantage of this event and come listen to and meet one of the most dynamic scholar-athletes of our time. Myron Rolle has achieved the impossible regardless of all of his critics. He has gone on to receive top academic honors along with balancing an career as one of the top football players in the country. Rolle aspired to become a worldly scholar and risked one of his dreams of becoming an NFL player, to follow another dream of becoming a neurosurgeon.
Rolle will be in Philadelphia on May 12th, 2012 at Enon-West(230 W.Coulter Street), to share his knowledge with the student-athletes in the Philadelphia and surrounding area.
You don't want to miss!!!
Sincerely,
Vernard Abrams (Coach Abe)
