AARS Drinks Reception in Cambridge, MA
Together with Rahul Satija, Grace Tiao, and The Broad Institute, AARS is pleased to host a drinks reception at The Broad Institute in Cambridge, MA on September 4th from 6:00-7:30pm.
The Broad institute is a biomedical and genomic research center founded shortly after the completion of the Human Genome Project. A number of Rhodes Scholars are associated with it, including the director, Eric Lander (New York and Wolfson '78).
The Institute has generously offered to host a tour of their sequencing core facility before the drinks reception. If you are interested to learn more about genome sequencing, or to see the process in action, we hope you will join us for the tour! The facility is a few blocks from the reception, and the tour starts at 4:40pm.
The reception will be held in the lobby of the Institute (7 Cambridge Center, next to the Kendall MIT T stop), which doubles as an interactive genomics museum.
Partners are most welcome to attend.
Please RSVP here by August 22nd.
