| Dear Scholars, Building on the success of the first annual Welcome Home Weekend in 2017, and with the generous support of its co-creators, Swati Mylavarapu (Florida & Wolfson 2005) and Noorain Khan (Michigan & St Antony's 2006), AARS and the Rhodes Trust are thrilled to invite you to a special weekend in NYC to mark your entry into the Senior Scholar community. The aim of the weekend is to make your post-Oxford transition as smooth as possible, something many older Scholars have said they wished they had. You will have chance to connect with other recently returned Scholars, meet alumni who work in your areas of interest, and spend some quality time in NYC. Most of your expenses during the event (including travel, accommodation, food and activities) will be covered for you. The weekend will be structured as follows: Friday Evening: Senior Scholar-hosted dinners at restaurants and homes in the City Saturday All Day: A full day of programming for 2014-2015 Scholars, including workshops, panel discussions and mentoring sessions Sunday Morning: Informal Brunch open to all alumni and their guests Venue: The Atlantic Philanthropies (USA) Inc., 75 Varick Street, 17th floor, New York, NY 10013-1950 Confirm your attendance by 30 November 2017 · If you will be traveling to New York for the event, where from? · Will you need accommodation in New York on 2nd and 3rd of March 2018?
